After having several conversations at the studio regarding some negative experiences we had as students we decided we wanted to have a space where we could exist on our own terms. Free from microagressions, misunderstood work, and a general lack of consideration.

As we connected with our peers to create this, we saw how by creating this website we were strengthening our ties to our community. What started as a place to get away from things, turned into something to run towards. Whether it’s online or physical, Studio For Us will always be a safe place for all artists.
