What if it all works out in the end?
Though my name may be on the works I create, the journey that led to their creation was never a lonely one. I was always accompanied by loved ones, peers, and strangers whose work was integral to mine. Even the materials I work with are cherished companions.
I make work out of gratitude and love. No matter the medium, the message is always the same. “I love you”. I am rarely the subject of my works, but my connection to that love is a representation. I find that my relationships are the most honest evidence of my existence. After all, the phrase “I love you” is as much about “you” as it is about “I” (me).
